Clerk Chat's Salesforce integration is designed to unify your communication and contact management in one place. Send and receive SMS and RCS messages directly from Clerk Chat while keeping your contacts and conversations perfectly synced with Salesforce.

Connecting Salesforce to Clerk Chat
- Go to Settings → Integrations in your Clerk Chat sidebar.
- Click Connect next to the Salesforce option.
- This will open a new tab to connect to your Salesforce account.
- Once connected, you’ll be redirected back to your Clerk Chat workspace.
Syncing Contacts
- Once connected, Clerk Chat automatically pulls your Salesforce contacts into your Clerk Chat contact list.
- Contacts are automatically synced every 5 minutes, but you can also trigger a manual sync on demand.
- Choose to keep contacts private or share them across your workspace.
- Search contacts directly in Clerk Chat and start sending messages immediately.
Two-Way Sync (Bidirectional Sync)
- Any conversation started in Clerk Chat will automatically appear in Salesforce under the corresponding contact or lead.
- Likewise, updates in Salesforce contacts will reflect in Clerk Chat, keeping both platforms perfectly aligned.
Mapping Properties
- In your integration settings, you can select which Salesforce properties (like phone numbers, emails, or custom fields) to import and map back to Clerk Chat.
- Clerk Chat also brings in properties you already use in Salesforce, making it easy to segment your contacts or create static or dynamic lists for campaigns and workflows.

- View and message Salesforce contacts directly in Clerk Chat’s interface.
- All your messaging stays organized and linked to the correct Salesforce records.
- Save time, eliminate duplicate data entry, and keep customer interactions consistent across platforms.
Lead sync
Clerk Chat now automatically syncs your Salesforce lead records—not just contacts. Leads will appear as contacts in Clerk Chat, allowing you to:

Keep your outreach unified and CRM records up to date automatically

Bring your business messaging directly into Salesforce. Send messages straight from your Salesforce contacts and keep every conversation connected to your CRM.
What does the widget do?
The Clerk Chat Widget embeds a messaging panel directly inside Salesforce, allowing you to:
Send messages without leaving Salesforce.
See all recent conversations tied to the contact or lead you’re viewing.
Keep every message automatically synced with your Clerk Chat inbox and Salesforce record.

How to Access the Widget
- Open a contact or lead record in Salesforce.
- You’ll notice the Clerk Chat widget on the bottom of the page.
- Click to open the widget panel.
- Notice the familiar Clerk Chat messaging interface, all inside Salesforce!
Sending a Message
- In the Clerk Chat panel, type your message just as you would in the main Clerk Chat app.
- Hit Send. Your message is delivered instantly from Clerk Chat, but you never have to leave Salesforce.
